Stockfish is a powerful open-source chess engine. This website loads Stockfish 18 in WebAssembly form in the user's browser (via a Web Worker) for analysis and related features.
Stockfish is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL v3). The complete license text shipped with the browser build is available at /engine/sf18/LICENSE. A short attribution file is at /engine/sf18/README.txt.
